A Place Through the Years
1922
A business closes, a building changes hands
Following Mr. McClellan's passing in 1922, his horse-drawn farm implements business closed, and the property transitioned through numerous chapters over the decades, serving as apartments, a butcher shop, a dance hall, and a cigar shop.
2014
Condemned and blighted
By 2014, The McClellan Place had fallen into severe neglect, standing condemned and blighted.

Restoration begins
That same year, Eric Storms and Kathleen Calvert purchased the property, starting a 12-year historical restoration project to breathe new life into the place for both the local community and Moon Bird Distilling.
